Acknowledgements

Both Sheila and Susan would like to acknowledge the assistance, love, caring and passion which has been put into the creation of the Sounds From Sourceover the many, many months and years from its initial conception. This has been given willingly by many people, far too numerous to list here, they do however know who they are - So Thanks Guys.

These include:-

Mark Salmon, Susan’s partner, and a gentleman extraordinaire, a wonderful man who welcomed me into his family and has on many occasions put his life on hold, to not only support, assist, and advise both Susan and I, but also to be a taxi driver for me,  a guinea pig for Susan, a sounding board for us both and has also supplied telephone and monetary support, and especially “food”..

Mark on many occasions has even needed to be “both” parents to his and Susan’s beautiful daughter Erika, as Susan and I worked for many long hours at a time.

Mark has never given up on us or the Sounds From Source  project and continues to be our steadfast champion. There are not the words to express the gratitude that both Susan and I feel for this gentle man. [SK]

To  Miss Erika, for all of the times when she has gone without her mother’s attention as Susan and I “brainstormed” either on the phone or the internet, having for the majority of this process been separated by some 1,000kms of space between two major cities. For her patience and her unfailing generosity in donating me her own personal bedroom when I was lucky enough to manage an “in person” visit.

And especially for her unfailing sense of fun and humour which has always delighted me. [The Clown on the Children’s Learning program was chosen by me because it reminded me of Erika’s cheeky grin]. [SK]

To Kristel Salmon, who has helped with so much, she has given up so much of her own time to help Susan with technical and artistic aspects of the Sounds From Source site.  As well as being a calming influence for Susan during the creation of this site. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her, if she didn’t know how to do something, she would learn how to do it and then implement it.  Considering that she has done this for us, while having a full time job and attending tertiary night classes 3 evenings a week (with all the homework this entails) is great testimony to her energy and her belief in this project.  Thank you for your patience, your love and your belief in us both.

To Shelley Salmon, who helped enormously by taking care of Erika, ensuring that she was well cared for while we did other tasks and for her artistic help in the creation of a CD cover for the ‘Waterfall’ meditation.

Frank Endries, where would the early sounds have been without Frank, a talented musician, and the “muse” behind much of my “other work”.

Frank Endries and his wonderful family, his wife Judith and their sons Finn and Luka welcomed me many times as a part of their family, I felt in many instances a “surrogate Grandmother” as Finn speaking German as his first language would “barter” with his mother to “stay up” because Sheila was coming over to record with his father. His mother, bartering in return would agree as long as he spoke to Sheila in English. Finn, aged approximately 3years would circumnavigate this by getting me to read to him, I did manage to persuade him to teach me a few words in German in return however.

Luka grew from a tiny baby just a few weeks old to a sturdy young man who delighted in sharing his dinner with me on the many occasions I ate with the family and I was always assured of a warm welcome from Schimanski,  a beautiful big tabby cat . [SK]

Sean Flynn, another musician extraordinaire, Sean spent two long sessions recording for me, finishing late at night and literally “undraping” himself from his chair. Sean’s expertise and knowledge of recording equipment is also second to none. [SK]

Harry Williamson, again a talented musician who has an amazing Cd of music created on an Angel Guitar, we hope to offer Harry’s CD on the Healing Sounds Academy site so that the world may experience his beautiful music. [SK]

Paul Bianco, who I flew to Sydney to record with,  man of patience, insight and humour, as well as again a wonderful musician in his own right.

Paul generously gave us the “run” of his studio and his apartment on a number of occasions when we recorded marathon sessions, and would work away to have a “finished” product for us to take home while Susan and I escaped to the local eateries which abounded the area for much needed sustenance. [SK]  I would like to  thank Paul for his patience and his willingness to burn double copies of every sound in different versions - a time consuming and ultimately extremely tedious task - because at that time, Sheila and I were basically capable of turning on a computer and not much more, so the thought of burning or changing a CD format was very much beyond our comprehension.  I can only marvel at your generousity. [SO]

Andrew Cunningham, a talented young graphic artist from Melbourne who took the vision and concept of the Sounds From Source logo, which was brainstormed through the first class of the Sounds From Source practitioners in Melbourne in January 2007 and the idea sketched onto a piece of paper by his sister Lilian, who is a qualified Sounds From Source practitioner.

Andrew with Lilian’s invaluable assistance created the beautiful logo we use today, not only on the site but also on each of the Sounds From Source CD programs.

More than just a pretty picture this unique logo embodies the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional qualities of the Sounds From Source.

Lilian Cunningham, where do I start, without Lilian and her delightful presence, I would still be sitting at a computer pulling my hair out. Lilian went beyond the call of friendship and rescued me many times, and on many different occasions, created amazing charts and documents, fed me, listened to me, became my willing chauffeur, and was and still is an amazing loving and loyal friend. [SK]

Debbie Castellano, another wonderful friend, both Debbie and Lilian individually, and together “trialled” programs, brainstormed, laminated, typed, guillotined and packaged materials for the first Sounds From Source Practitioner program.  They had both been with me every step of the journey and I was very honoured to accept them both as part of our Sounds From Source family.

Debbie cooked and kept us all fed, especially me, and as a renowned therapist in her own right she took time off from her own clinic and her family  to assist and support me on many occasions, even pulling rank if she felt the need arose, and gave stern instructions about rest and time off.

To Debbie’s family I give my grateful thanks, and especially to her partner Joe Morrison who often “taxied’ their teenage children while Debbie worked with me. [SK]

To the many clients, without whom many of the sounds may never have evolved. Especially to James and Brigitte and their baby daughter, who were the original impetus for my questioning of could I actually remove cellular memory. And for the amazing experience of being present at the birth of this special child who was delivered as a Lotus birth, and the realisations that ensued for me of the trauma for the average infant when it is separated from its umbilical cord which has been its life line for so many weeks and months. This one incident created the Birth Trauma program which has assisted so many babies, children and even adults since.

The individual clients are too many to name individually, however they, like many of my fellow practitioners who trialled the sounds were instrumental in our growth and awareness  of the needs of the body at a cellular level. [SK and SO]

To Trevor, my  husband, he was lucky and missed the “drama” levels of getting the sounds up of the ground. He now puts up with opening my office door at 3 and 4 am and asking “when are you coming to bed”? [SK]

And not quite last but by no means least, Susan Ormsby, my esteemed colleague, my friend, my challenge, [she never lets me get away with anything]. The Sounds From Source rest squarely on Susan’s shoulders, she has nurtured them from their infancy, she gently “bullies” me when she feels she needs to, she keeps me accountable, she constantly looks for ways to “protect” my energy when I channel, and she has been the mainstay and the rock of the foundations of these programs.

Without Susan and her passion and determination that these sounds must be shared with the world, I would still be “ringing” individual bells for each client.

Susan and I have grown together with the Sounds From Source, I honestly believe we are both better people for having shared this experience, and I look forward to our ongoing journey. [SK]

To Sheila Kennedy - I would like to say a huge thank you to Sheila for generously allowing me into her world, and allowing me to work with her.  It has been and continues to be a truly fascinating and totally fulfilling experience for me.  Sheila has always been very willing to explore new ideas and possibilities and was and is always patient with me, particularly in the beginning when I was grappling to understand the gravity and enormity of the channelled information she was bringing through.  For the longest time, I couldn’t really understand why or how I had been ‘chosen’ to assist Sheila and certainly liked to hide in the background as I didn’t feel worthy of being associated with a person of her ability and talent, not to mention being associated with the  ‘Source of The Healing Sounds’ on my own merit.  It has taken a long time, but I finally understand that sometimes the synergy of two completely different people can and does bring forth a third factor in its own right - in this case, the combination of us both has brought forth a connection to the ‘Source of The Healing Sounds’ and our combined learning and questioning continues to bring forth new and exciting healing sounds - which are so needed in this world today.  I am so proud and honoured to be a part of this process - and the words 'thank you' do not even begin to approach the intensity of gratitude I feel in being allowed to be a part of this project.  Thank you again Sheila and thank you to the ‘Source of The Healing Sounds’. [SO]

To the “Source of The Healing Sounds’, as both Susan and I identify the Universal consciousness which communicates with us, “we are honoured and much blessed by your trust and faith in us to transmit the energy and information which you so willingly share for the good of all mankind.

May we continue to remain humble and be worthy of your regard.
