Description of sound

Discreating Causal Loops is a very new sound created in May 2008, and it came about from a conversation between Susan and I

So what is a Causal Loop? I believe it is an energetic pattern which keeps repeating itself over and over again, Similar if you like to the train sets or racing car tracks many small boys / and girls have played with over the years. The train or the little car keeps on doing loops or circuits of the track, and unless an enterprising child is able to create an ‘off ramp or side track’ or there is a derailment the ‘vehicle’ keeps following the same path.

There are many instances in people’s lives where they keep following the same patterns or loops, and often no matter how hard they try they just can’t seem to break out of them.

The Discreating Causal Loops sounds and allows you to move forward.

How this sound came about

           Loops and energetic patterns are something I have been aware of, however had not given a great deal of thought to until recently when I was having a conversation with Susan.

What started as a brief ‘throw away’ remark by myself soon became an in depth discussion as often happens with Susan and I, and it wasn’t long before the new Discreating Causal Loops sound came to the fore.

What amazed me was once I put my awareness into the creation of the sound just how many versions and issues of loops I became aware of.

I have often used the term ‘Be Aware’ with my colleagues and students, and the Awareness sounds followed hot on the heels of Discreating Causal Loops. The Universe moves in mysterious ways at times.

Comment from Susan - As Sheila said she had made a throw away comment about acertain situation and was preparing to go on a teaching trip to Melbourne. I went home and was watching a repeat episode of Star Trek - one where the enterprise keep repeating the same incident again and again because of a temperal rift in time - a causal loop.  I suddenly realised that this was exactly what Sheila had been talking about.  Plus, a couple of days earlier - I had attended a two day seminar on marketing and one of the presenters had spoken about repeating the same pattern and how the only common factor was 'you'.  I rang Sheila and we had an indepth discussion on these factors and how we can sometimes keep repeating the same pattern and where did the pattern come from?  Sheila left for Melbourne the following day and upon her return she channelled the material for 'Discreating Causal Loops'.
